This site exisits to promote and bring news about 'Better World Island' in the virtual world of Second Life!
Betterworldisland, is an island in the virtual world of second life, who's purpose is to educate about real world issues, with the goals of global improvement and harmony. This is acheived via the educational builds on the island, and via the events held there. One of the major present attractions is 'Camp Darfur' where the group involved have recreated a Darfur refugee camp, to educate other users of the humanitarian crisis there.
